KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!

GETTING TO THE SHOW

LOCATION:
Austin Public Library (Central)
710 W Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78701

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION: There is a (paid) garage attached to the library with ample spots for our crowd. However, this garage does get fairly congested, especially as everyone tries to exit at the same time. We recommend ride shares/taxis for anyone in close enough range, or street parking if you’re willing to find it!

OR, take the bus! CapMetro's Route 803 drops passengers literally a few feet from the library. Here's the skinny: https://www.capmetro.org/docs/default-source/scheduled-routes/803.pdf

Please also note that this is weekend 1 of ACL—parking may be challenging, even across the lake from the festival. Leave early, carpool, rideshare, or take public transit if you can!

ENTRY TIMES & CHECK IN

ENTERING & CHECK-IN: The event center is on the south side of the building (along Cesar Chavez). From the garage, follow signage to the correct elevator. From the street level, enter the doors near the intersection of Cesar Chavez and West. You will be able to check in with the name under which your tickets were ordered. You do not need to print a ticket. Please look at the times below, as our entry is timed based on your ticket type.

ENTRY TIMES:

  • 6:45pm (Sat) / 2:15pm (Sun) – VIP entry; Your VIP ticket allows you a 15-minute head start to claim seats. Once general admission starts, all seats are open to all guests.

  • 7:00pm (Sat) / 2:30pm (Sun) — GA and Student entry

CONCERT T-SHIRTS will also be available for purchase in the lobby. Your t-shirt purchase helps support Panoramic Voices as it launches into its next season with more singers, and more gigs than ever before!

THE SHOW ITSELF!

CONCERT RUN TIME: This program contains just 70 minutes of music, performed with a 20 minute intermission. You can expect a total concert experience of about 2 hours from walking in to walking out the doors.

CONCERT PROGRAM: Our concert program is offered digitally ONLY. We will have QR codes available for you to pull it up on site, and APL has public wifi available for your use.

****CONTENT WARNING: Our guest artist is known for their original song, “Smile,” which includes one prominent, loud expletive. If you or one of your guests are sensitive to swear words, we recommend taking a little break in the lobby for the first two songs of the SECOND half of our show. Enter again when you see the choir enter after VAMP’s set!

AND ONE MORE THING…

If you are moved by something you hear on Saturday, we hope you will consider a gift (of any size) to Panoramic Voices! Your generosity allows us to continue offering exceptional musical experiences to singers in Austin free of the typical boundaries to participation (such as singer fees and auditions).

Donate to Panoramic Voices!

Thank you again for spending some time with us this weekend! If you have any questions, you can reach us at chorus_manager@panoramicvoices.org.
