KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!
— SUNday, MAY 17, 7:00pm —
Bullock Texas State History Museum
1800 Congress AvE
We can’t wait to see you at DIVAS this weekend! We have a program of absolute BANGERS ready for you—it’s going to be a blast! The Bullock Museum is an incredible space, too, and we’re so excited to finally get to use it. Please take a moment to review some helpful information for this weekend’s show.
GETTING TO THE SHOW
WHEN & WHERE:
Sunday, May 17, 2026 (Ticket entry times below!)
Bullock Texas State History Museum
1800 Congress Ave | Austin, TX 78701
WHAT TO WEAR:
There’s no specific dress code… however, we’ve encouraged our singers to wear whatever makes them feel most fabulous, and we’d love to encourage the same from you. If you enjoy an excuse to dress up, please take this opportunity to show off your inner DIVA! Or come as you are. Either way, we’re just excited to see you.
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION:
The Bullock Museum has an attached garage and PARKING FOR THE EVENT IS FREE! However, the museum is open until 5pm, and the garage is also open to the public throughout the evening. If you plan to drive to the concert, please be aware of the following:
IF YOU ENTER THE GARAGE BEFORE THE MUSEUM CLOSES, you will need to tell the attendant that you are there for the event to get free parking.
This is a downtown, public parking garage, and we will have over 650 people at our event—while the garage is free and available to you, we cannot guarantee that parking won’t fill up! Since it is a Sunday evening, we do think there will be quite a bit of available parking, but still encourage carpooling and leaving yourself extra time.
In the event that this garage fills, your next best option is across MLK Blvd. near the Blanton Museum (this one is NOT free), or street parking in the neighborhood south of the museum.
There are several bus stops in the area! If you are public-transportation prone, we recommend mapping out your route in advance!
ENTRY TIMES & CHECK IN
ENTERING & CHECK-IN: All guests will be asked to check in at the front entrance. We will be giving out wristbands for our VIP and GA seated guests, as they have paid for extra benefits at this concert.
ALL ENTRY TIMES:
6:00-6:30PM – VIP EARLY ENTRY: VIP guests will be allowed to enter the concert hall first to find their seats, get portraits, and claim their concert posters! You must arrive between 6-6:30 to claim some of these benefits! (More information below.)
6:30PM - GENERAL ADMISSION & STUDENT ENTRY: You will be able to enter the hall at 6:30pm. You are welcome to line up at the entrance prior to your entry time.
SEATED GUESTS: Those who purchased GA or Student SEATED tickets will be able to fill in all non-VIP seats on a first-come, first-served basis. (You will get a GA seated wristband on your way in the door; this is how our ushers will know that you are a “seated” guest.)
Please note that this is a completely sold out event; anything you can do to help fill in the seats (rather than leaving a space between you and another guest) is greatly appreciated.
After the show starts, empty seats may be filled by standing-room-only guests; if you arrive after 7:00 pm, we can no longer guarantee you a seat.
PLEASE DO NOT SAVE A SEAT NEXT TO YOU FOR A FRIEND WHO DID NOT PURCHASE A SEATED TICKET. As you know, having purchased a seated ticket, these spots cost more than the standing room tickets. Please be respectful of everyone who paid for seats.
IF YOU NEED SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS FOR A DISABILITY: If you purchased a seated ticket, but need space for a wheelchair or walker, please locate any usher for help.
STANDING GUESTS: You are welcome to fill in empty seats ONLY AFTER THE SHOW STARTS. Standing-room-only guests who sit prior to that time will be asked to move to honor guests who paid for seats. Thank you for being willing to stand—our concerts are short (each half is between 40-45 min) and festive. DANCE IT OUT!
ADDITIONAL VIP BENEFITS/INSTRUCTIONS:
VIP guests have a head start to find seating, pick up their concert poster, and get their professional portrait with Aria Rey! However, some of these benefits will “close” once GA admission begins. Please take a moment to review your VIP benefits:
6-6:30PM - EARLY ENTRY: We will start letting VIP guests into the hall at 6pm. Once GA admission starts at 6:30pm, seats will be open first-come, first-served to all guests who purchased a seated ticket, so please save your seats between 6-6:30pm.
6-6:30PM - PORTRAITS: All VIP guests are welcome to get photos with our guest emcee, Aria Rey! These will happen right at the front entrance, but will only be available until 6:30pm when GA admission begins. (After 6:30, GA guests will be able to get portraits, just not with Aria.)
6-9PM - CONCERT POSTERS: Your VIP ticket also includes and archival quality print of our concert poster! Please pick up your poster any time before the concert or during intermission from the dedicated poster table. Your poster will be associated with the name on your ticket. (If you purchased 3 VIP tickets all under the same name, all three posters will also be available under that name.)
THE SHOW ITSELF!
CONCERT RUN TIME: The concert itself will run from 7:00 to about 8:45pm including ONE 20-minute intermission about half way through. We request that all guests clear the hall by 9:30pm at the latest so that we can break down and clean the space.
CONCERT PROGRAM: Our concert program is offered digitally ONLY. We will have QR codes available for you to pull it up on site. OR, feel free to take a look now!
ABOUT THE CONCERT REPERTOIRE: This is a fun, nostalgic list of karaoke favorites by absolute legends like Cher, Madonna, Elton John, Dolly Parton, and more. We hope you’ll be inspired to hoot and holler, to dance in the aisles, and to participate when invited to do so. However, out of respect for everyone around you, we ask that you do NOT sing along (unless invited to do so)!
CONTENT WARNING!!!!
Please note that our concert contains a small amount of adult language. Additionally, our guest Emcee is a Drag Queen. Children are welcome as long as parents/guardians are both comfortable with Drag and light profanity, and accompanying their young guests. If you have questions about the nature of the content in question, contact us at chorus_manager@panoramicvoices.org.
