Thank you for purchasing tickets to Curios, the first concert of our 30th Anniversary Season! We’re looking forward to sharing a unique set of repertoire in a truly incredible space! This is a new venue for us, and while we think it’s a particularly cool space (including lots of art, and a full cash bar!), there are some quirks as well. Please review the information below about Sunday’s show, and let us know if you have any questions!

GETTING TO THE SHOW

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION—This is a relatively new venue in Austin, and we know it looks intimidating from the map. However, please know that all roads are well maintained and easy to drive! Please pay special attention to the map below: Mapping apps sometimes send guests to a closed gate, but the below route is the correct one. DO NOT turn off of Dalton onto Sherman, but rather continue down Dalton (as shown below). Please also note that signage is very visible for HOPE and should be followed!

  • PARKING IS AMPLE! The sheriff’s department will be on site helping with parking, which will be available both in the lot immediately outside the venue, and in the field next door. Both of these are very close to the entrance to the venue itself.

  • ACCESSIBLE PARKING: The spots closest to the entrance will be reserved for accessible parking. Thank you for helping us keep these spaces open for those who need them.

  • RIDESHARE & PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Public transportation directly to this venue is not available. However, the venue is very well set up for rideshare pickup/dropoff.

 
 


ENTRY TIMES & CHECK IN

ENTERING & CHECK-IN: All guests will be asked to check in at the front entrance, and will be allowed into the performance space with their ticketing group. We will also be giving wristbands for all our guests, using different styles for each ticketing level to designate entry time and seat type.

ENTRY TIMES:

  • 5:00PM – VIP EARLY ENTRY: VIP guests will be allowed to enter the concert hall first to find and claim seats! We will provide you with “reserved” signs to tape to your seats. You will also be given a drink ticket, which can be redeemed at the bar for any alcoholic, non-alcoholic, or coffee beverage.

  • 5:30PM - GENERAL ADMISSION & STUDENT ENTRY: You will be able to enter the space at 5:30 pm. You are welcome to line up at the entrance prior to your entry time.

    • SEATED GUESTS: Those who purchased GA or Student SEATED tickets will be able to fill any non-reserved VIP seats on a first-come, first-served basis.

      • After the show starts, empty seats may be filled by standing-room-only guests; if you arrive after 6:00 pm, we can no longer guarantee you a seat.

      • IF YOU NEED SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS FOR A DISABILITY: If you purchased a seated ticket, but need space for a wheelchair or walker instead, please locate any usher for help. There is ample space at this venue, and chairs are easily moved! Please don’t hesitate to ask for help!

    • STANDING GUESTS: You are welcome to fill in empty seats ONLY AFTER THE SHOW STARTS. Standing-room-only guests who sit prior to that time will be asked to move to honor guests who paid for seats. Thank you for being willing to stand—our concerts are short (each half is between 30-40 min) and festive. Please do dance it out!

VENDORS & BAR!

We are thrilled to offer several fun ways to enjoy the pre-concert, intermission, and post-concert times!

CASH BAR: Please support this awesome new museum with your drink purchase at the bar! Cocktails, beer, wine, NA beverages, and coffee will be available for purchase!

PANO MERCH: We have merch! Anniversary season shirts and tote bags and Panoramic Voices branded koozies will be on sale at the Pano table! Additionally, we have a limited number of Curios concert posters available for purchase.

SHOP LOCAL ARTISANS: There are two great local artists joining us to sell their goods at this weekend’s concert:

  • VINCA USA: Vinca is known for colorful, quirky jewelry designs. Laser cut and designed by awesome people for awesome people in Austin, Texas.

  • BIONIC PIGEON: Handcrafted bags from Austin, TX, featuring waxed canvas, cork, and Japanese canvas.

THE SHOW ITSELF!

CONCERT RUN TIME: The concert itself will run from 6:00pm to approximately 7:40pm, including a 20 minute intermission! After the show, you are welcome to hang out for a bit, meet some singers, and visit our vendors. We will clear the space by 9 pm.

CONCERT PROGRAM: Our concert program is offered digitally ONLY. We will have QR codes available for you to pull it up on site, and it will be posted on our website by on Thursday morning. Public Wi-Fi is available at HOPE Outdoor Gallery.

 

WEATHER & THE RAIN PLAN

DRESS FOR THE WEATHER: It’s looking like we will be fortunate enough to experience one of the very first days of beautiful, fall weather this weekend! Our concert will start about an hour before sunset, with temperatures in the mid 70s. However, as the sun sets, it’s likely to get a little chilly (GASP!). Please check the weather, and dress accordingly for an outdoor concert. We recommend some layers.

RAIN PLAN: Weather for this weekend is looking STUNNING. However, we know that can change quickly. We will assess this weekend’s weather and make any cancellation announcements by Saturday afternoon. We don’t anticipate needing to do this. However, in the event that a cancellation is necessary, please note that we will both reschedule the show AND offer refunds to all ticketed guests.
