Hello Artisans and Crafters!
Panoramic Voices, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is presenting a christmas carol sing/play-along concert and pop-up craft fair at Central Machine Works in Austin, Texas on Sunday, December 3rd from 11 am – 3 pm. This holiday crafting event is a fundraiser for the choral group and an opportunity for crafters in the central Texas area to showcase and sell their unique and creative handcrafted items.
The cost for vendors to participate in this event is $50. In addition, we are requesting each vendor give a donation of one of their creations to be auctioned at a future planned auction.
VENUE INFORMATION
Central Machine Works Brewery is in the vibrant East side community on E. Cesar Chavez. Before opening as a brewpub in 2019, it was formerly known as Capital Machine works- a metal fabrication shop that produced a variety of custom parts starting with airplanes in WWII (1940-2016).
The repurposed airplane hangar was designed to embrace the building’s history, while creating a welcoming space for our community. With an open concept Beer Hall and expansive Beer Garden, CMW offers a full-service bar, in-house kitchen with rotating seasonal options, and a variety of events!
We have room for 10 vendor booths.
Vendors are allowed 10’ x 10’ spaces and must provide their own tables, chairs and any other equipment needed to set up their vending space. The vendor market will be taking place in the venue’s Beer Garden – which is uncovered and outdoors. Vendors are encouraged to bring pop-up tents. No hooks, staples or adhesives may be used on the walls or floors to secure tables and/or back drops – meaning your displays must be self-standing/supporting.
The parking lot for the venue is accessible from 5th St which is directly behind Central Works and the outdoor area where the craft fair will take place. This is where unloading/loading will take place in the parking lot as well.
Booths must be set up and ready to go by 11 am when the doors open to the public and will need to remain open until 3 pm.
VENDOR INFORMATION
To maintain a variety of vendors, event coordinators reserve the right to accept or deny applications based on show needs. Please know that all categories of merchandise will be monitored and limited to ensure a quality and well-balanced show. Nothing is more frustrating than discovering while excitedly setting up your display that there are five other vendors selling the same type of item that you are. We will not allow that to happen, because we want our vendors to enjoy a successful and profitable outing.
All vendors are required to have a current Texas Sales Tax permit and are responsible for collecting and reporting sales tax (8.25%). Please have a copy of your permit available to show at the event.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Vendors wanting to participate in this event are asked to 1) fill out the form below, and 2) send one or two photos of the items to be sold to nancyscraftsandfinds@gmail.com.
NANCY STALLCUP (EMAIL ABOVE) IS THE ONLY CONTACT FOR THIS EVENT. Please do not email Panoramic Voices directly.
Booth applications will be accepted and reviewed on a first come-first serve basis. Vendors will be informed of their acceptance into the fair with instructions on how to submit payment. Please do not assume that submission of application guarantees you a space. Booths will not be held or reserved until payment is made in full.
We are so excited to be offering this opportunity and look forward to hearing from you!
