SPRING 2026 REGISTRATION
IMPORTANT UPDATES TO OUR REGISTRATION PROCESS
Because of the high demand for our programming, we are concerned about accessibility for those without regular access to technology, those who cannot step away from work easily to register within a short window, and those who may have been traveling when the registration announcement was sent. This season, we have selected venues that should be able to accommodate larger groups. Registration will remain open until December 25, 2025. However, in the event that capacity is exceeded, we will do one of two things:
If the numbers make it feasible to do so, we will create separate performance rosters for Saturday and Sunday. We will do this after registration closes, and while we will ask for singers’ preferences and try to accommodate them, all singers should plan to be available for both days.
If we need to pare down the list and cannot accommodate all singers through separate Saturday/Sunday lists, a weighted score and lottery system based on the following priorities will be employed:
Priority will be given to singers who can best adhere to our attendance policy (we request no more than 2 missed rehearsals per project). Please check the rehearsal dates for this project, and note all dates you will miss as part of registration. (We of course understand that things come up; we simply request good communication from singers when they need to miss!) Please note that this does NOT mean you cannot participate in a project if you have more than 2 absences—communicating your absences with us is key!
Priority will be given to new singers and singers who were not selected for the most recent rosters.
We will take a look at past attendance, and this may affect your weighting, as well. (Please note that we are flexible with attendance, but ask that you communicate clearly with us, especially when you need to drop a projects. Singers who have not shown up to a project for which they registered AND who did not communicate with us will receive less priority than those who communicated absences and drops clearly.)
We will ask you to rank this season’s projects in order of preference, and will attempt to place you on the projects you are most interested in. This is not a perfect process yet, as we are experimenting with more ways to make our registration fair, accessible, and available to our growing demand. We will make every attempt to get singers into the projects that mean the most to them!
Section leaders (on or off duty), Board Members, and Committee Chairs will get preference in honor of their service to our organization.
Our intent is to ensure that all singers who wish to participate in our community have the ability to do so. While this does mean that some singers may not be assigned to every project, it should also mean that all singers will be able to participate with some regularity, without the stress of registering in a tiny, frantic time window. Thank you for your patience with us as we continue to improve our process!
If you are not selected for a project, you are still welcome to join us for rehearsals only. This is a great way to get involved in the community, even if we aren’t able to give you a spot in the performance. Singers who have a lot of projected absences, any kind of performance anxiety, or who simply aren’t able to commit to the full project are encouraged to register for the “rehearsals-only track”—use the registration form below, and be sure to select your preference.

NEXT STEPS
FEES: Panoramic Voices does not require you to pay to perform, but we do ask singers to purchase their own music. We also will ask you to buy a t-shirt to wear during some of our performances. If either of these presents a financial hardship, please let us know and we can make arrangements on a case-by-case basis. Sheet music and t-shirts can both be purchased through the singer resource page, which you will gain access to after registering.
REHEARSAL TRACKS: We will provide sung rehearsal tracks for practice at home!
NEXT STEPS: Please use the registration form below to sign up. We will set a final roster by New Years Day (January 1). At that time, we will email you to confirm your participation (if selected), or to ask if you would like to continue with “rehearsals-only track” (if not selected). We will then send out access to the singer resource page, where you will have access to all information regarding this concert, including sheet music, tracks, and more!
Some of your questions about the process may be answered in our Singer Registration FAQs. If you have any other questions, please email us at chorus_manager@panoramicvoices.org.
